Hi, I’m Hamed Derakhshani.
I create story-driven video content, working across concept development, scriptwriting, production, editing, and post-production.
My background spans more than a decade of work in content strategy, writing, photography, video, and digital publishing for agencies, startups, and founder-led businesses. That experience has shaped the way I approach video: not just as something that looks good, but as a way to communicate an idea clearly and make it worth watching.
Today, I’m focused on creating thoughtful visual work for creators, brands, and businesses that care about how they communicate.
My Story
For more than ten years, I’ve worked in content and communication, helping ideas find the right words, structure, and audience.
What started with writing gradually grew into a broader creative practice spanning photography, video, editing, and content strategy. Along the way, I became increasingly interested in how words, images, and moving visuals work together to tell better stories.
After relocating from Iran to Türkiye, I found myself rebuilding my creative career from the ground up. It has been a challenging but valuable experience, teaching me a lot about adaptability, starting over, and creating work that can travel across languages, cultures, and borders.
Today, I’m focused on building an international body of work in English, with video at the center, while continuing to work with clients and collaborators around the world.
